Printing a Purchasing Forecast Report
Once you have entered all of the required information needed to generate a Purchasing Forecast Report, command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
The following information will display on the report:
- Item – The item ID code
- Item Name – The item name
- Unit Cost – The per unit cost of the item
- Current Inventory – The on-hand inventory of the item
- Open Orders – The ordered quantity of the item on open and priced sales orders
- Shipment Shorted - The short shipped quantity for all sales orders for the weeks selected. a negative quantity indicates the quantity short shipped, a positive quantity indicates the quantity over shipped for the period.
- Open PO – The ordered quantity of the item on open purchase orders
- Current & Future Inventory – The total of current inventory minus open orders plus open purchases plus or minus the short shipped quantity.
- XX Days Sales Hx – The amount of the item sold during the weeks specified
- Recommended Purchase and Push – The quantity that needs to be purchased to meet the demand on the item based on the current and future inventory less the sales history. A "Y" (Y=yes) will be placed in the Push column if the inventory is older than the push days specified
- * means lots on hold have been found.
